he Course "European Transport Law" is an elective course offered in winter semester of the fifth year (IX semester) which examines overall legal regulation of the transport in EU (acquis communautaire) trough all five transport branches. For better understanding of transport policy and instruments through which it is regulated, the course includes teaching on Founding agreements, in relation to provisions on transport relations and their position to other provisions of the agreements, as well as application of basic principles of European law in the area of transport law. Having in mind the international character of transport, the course studies relationship of EU Member States with the EU and third states, especially in relation to their membership in other international organizations, but also their obligations from other international transport instruments and relationship between international and EU law in the context of transport.
