Lucija Vejmelka was born in 1983 in Zadar , where she finished elementary and high school. From 2001 she studied at Zagreb Law Faculty, Department of SocialWork where she acquired a degree in social work in 2006. During the study she stands out as the best student in her generation, and is rewarded for special achievement in the study. She continuous her education at training for foster parents supervision from 2006 to 2008, acquired her doctoral degree in 2012 at Department of Social Workin Zagreb and in 2014 she started specialistic postgraduate study in family mediation
