On Friday, 24 January 2020, at 11 am, the European Commissioner for Justice, Mr Didier Reynders, visited the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law as part of his official visit to the Republic of Croatia from 22-24 January 2020, during which he participated in the informal meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs in Zagreb, which brought together senior EU officials from the justice sector. Commissioner Reynders was officially received by Vice-dean professor Siniša Petrović.

The official ceremony was attended by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Croatia, the President of the High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia, the rector and vice-rectors of the University of Zagreb, deans and vice-deans of Croatian and foreign faculties, representatives of judicial and executive bodies, law and public notary representatives, retired professors, students and other honored guests.

The meeting held between faculty representatives headed by commissioner for students with disabilities professor Irena Majstorović from the Chair of Family Law and the delegation leader Mr Park Jong-Berm with his team has raised important topics pertaining to options and means to further the interest of persons with disabilities in enhancing their electoral participation.
