After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- recognise legal problems similar to those resolved in practical work
- explain the solution chosen for a concrete situation
- name the principle they used and provide its justification in a social sense
- identify problems that most frequently occur in practice
Application
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- apply an abstract legal norm to a concrete situation
- choose one of several conflicting legal principles
- illustrate reasons for their decision on an analoguous case
- interpret legal norm with several meanings
Analysis
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- distinguish betweenapplied legal institutes and similar legal institutes
- compare their own chosen solution with the solutions chosen by other students
- indicate an argument that they consider to be the most relevant one for resolving a dispute
- examine whether the solution would remain the same after the change of facts
Synthesis
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- prepare a claim and answer to the claim
- plan arguments in a hypothetical litigation
- formulate potential court decision
- lead a discussion with colleagues which solution to choose and how to formulate it
Evaluation
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to:
- assess the importance of individual institutes for society and economy
- recommend the significance of individual institutes for society and economy
- recommend certain changes of regulations de lege ferenda
- compare their own chosen solution with the solutions chosen by other students and the teacher
- conclude which arguments should the court accept
- In the stage of preparation of teaching materials, realisation of learning outcomes is monitored through benchmarking,
- In the stage of implementation of teaching program outcomes are controlled by monitoring attendance and reactions of students,
- Students may address the teacher personally or via e-mail
- Learning outcomes related to practrical and generic skills, application of knowledge, analysis, synthesis and evaluation are tested in the form of essay and discussion before the group and teacher
